On St. Valentine’s Day, Shopping MallDova to See the Break of Kissing Record
- More than 350 couples were kissing simultaneously in the course of 15 minutes
Chisinau, 16th February 2009. Shopping MallDova – the first retail centre in the Republic of Moldova to comply with the International Standards – has organised “Kissing Record” for the first time in our country, with the event to be taken part by couples of all ages.
„St. Valentine’s Day at Shopping Malldova stood for Celebration of Love. We have been visited by thousands of couples with intention to spend that marvellous day in a special and unique way. More than 700 persons were registered for participation in “Kissing Record”. The couples were kissing simultaneously for 15 minutes, with the event to rank as the first record of kisses ever registered in the Republic of Moldova”, according to Diana Adam, marketing coordinator of Shopping MallDova.
In the course of 2 days, on February 14th and 15th, Shopping MallDova saw St. Valentine’s Office functioning, which offered to the couples the possibility to unite their lives for 24 hours. “During 2 days of work, St. Valentine’s Office registered more than 500 weddings and issued the same number of Matrimony Certificates, as well as pictures to remember the solemn moment,” Diana Adam adds.
Owing to the above events, Shopping MallDova has provided for a lot of reasons for the beloved to utter one more time “I Love You”, to make love declarations and in general to feel happy in romantic atmosphere of the mall.

Shopping MallDova is the first retail and leisure centre to see its official opening on November 15th, 2008.
