Leogrand Hotel & Convention Center and Shopping MallDova “challenge” artists to the 7th edition of SummArt Painter’s Campus 2010
Within 2-8 August Chisinau will see the 7th edition of the international art symposium SummArt Painter’s Campus 2010, for the second time held at the commercial center Shopping MallDova. .
This year’s creation topic is “Challenge”. 15 artists from Moldova and abroad are meeting in Chisinau to show their talent, exchange experience and techniques and establish cultural and friendly relations. For seven days masters will paint in a vast studio arranged at the ground hall of the commercial center Shopping MallDova. The campus will provide an excellent opportunity for all visitors to participate in the creation of artworks and to observe the painting process in progress.
The international art symposium SummArt Painter’s Campus is organized annually by LEOGRAND Hotel & Convention Center and has become an important event for the community of painters, experts, art lovers and collectors. The painting campus is only the first step of the project, which will be followed in fall by an auction of paintings created during the symposium. All money raised at the auction will be donated to Igor Vieru Boarding Lyceum of Fine Arts.
Representatives of the media are invited on Thursday, 5 August, at 11:00 for a meeting with artists participating in the SummArt Painter’s Campus 2010.
