Personal painting exhibition "Mysteries", signed by the Master of Arts and painter Andrei Mudrea

Between March 17 and April 10, 2011, the "Artium" art gallery from Shopping MallDova hosts the personal painting exhibition from the series "Mysteries", signed by the Master of Arts and the painter Andrei Mudrea. There will be exposed more than 30 modern abstractions, created in early 2011, in a completely new technique and style, retaining, however, the bright and vivid color range, characteristic for master’s work of the last decade.

This exhibition represents a new stage of the artist’s creation and it’s an invitation to the public to actively participate in the process of Creation. Anyone interested will have the unique opportunity to contribute with the most beautiful thoughts and ideas, taking part in a contest of imagination and creativity. The works displayed at exhibition are titled "Improvisation 1", "Improvisation 2", ..., "Improvisation 23"etc. Any of the paintings exhibited may get a name suggested by you. All you need to do is to indicate the painting number you are referring to with the name you suggest and send your unlimited versions to this e-mail: andreimudrea@yahoo.com or leave a comment with this suggestions on author’s Facebook page. The contest will end in the same day as the exhibition, on Sunday, April 10, 2011. The 3 winners who will propose the most ingenious names will receive, within one week, one abstract graphic (follow the link http:// www.mudrea.com/abstract-graphics/ to see them).

About the author: Andrei Mudrea (born April 29, 1954) is an artist originally from Mitocul-Vechi, Orhei, Republic of Moldova. He is one of the disciples of Mihai Grecu, the author of many paintings, graphics and art-object, the founding member of the “Grupul Zece” group (part of this group are famous painters like Andrei Sârbu, Anatol Rurac, Dumitru Bolboceanu, Ilie Cojocaru, Iurie Platon, Tudor Zbârnea, Vasile Moşanu and Victor Hristov). Andrei Mudrea is considered to be one of the most talented painters of Bassarabia. The winner of many national and international awards, participant in numerous art exhibitions held in the country and abroad. Many artist’s works nowadays are in public and private collections in the largest cities of the world.
