Shopping MallDova is officially opened
Chisinau, 12 November 2008 The first large format retail and entertainment commercial center in Moldova, Shopping MallDova officially opened on 12th November, following an investment of 50 million euro.
The opening of Shopping MallDova is the most important event in Chisinau's retail and leisure history. Built by the Representative of Summa S.A in the Republic of Moldova, on four levels, totaling 70,000 square meters construction area with approximately 25,000 square meters leasable area, the commercial center will have more than 100 shops, a supermarket, part of the international chain Fourchette, which will cover 2300 square meters, a multiplex cinema with six screens part of the Patria Cinema network, interactive electronic games, bowling alley, a playground for children and various leisure options.
In Shopping MallDova, the central atrium with a splendid glass dome and sleek still arches, will lend to the distinctive structural beauty and natural light. In addition to the interior design, the contemporary glass facade used on the exterior of the building will set Shopping MallDova among the most attractive buildings and landmarks in Moldova. Large openings between the levels will ensure high visibility for the retailers. The vertical circulation will be ensured by 4 escalators, panoramic elevators and staircases in each floor and travelators between underground parking and ground floor. As well Shopping MallDova will offer to its visitors 750 underground parking lots.
Shopping MallDova will be the largest and prime retail destination in Chisinau. Unique architectural features will ensure a rich and varied shopping experience in which international brands will be combined with domestic favorites. Shopping MallDova will gather under one roof new famous brands that will open their first shop in Chisinau. The commercial center celebrates the opening with a series of high profile events.
